Pricing for a large modern art painting:
     30" x 40" = $2,000.00
     20" x 30" = $1,000.00

     16" x 20" = $650.00
     11" x 14" = $400.00
      8" x 10" = $250.00

A modern art painting is completed on illustration board in mixed media (Prismacolor pencil, watercolor crayons, & black permanent ink).

The time to complete the artwork for a large modern art painting is up to 4 weeks and for smaller sizes up to 2 weeks. If there is a backlog when you contact us, we will notify you of the approximate date your artwork will begin and you may be required to pay a deposit to hold your place in line. Deposits are not refundable.

Here is how our easy order process for modern art paintings works:

1. E-mail a photo (if applicable) - to us that depicts a general subject maybe including a group of people. We would need to see your photo before agreeing to start this project. A photo is not necessary, but could be helpful in order to get a better understanding of what you want. For example, like the painting above, you may want your pool area represented in the painting. We would need a picture of your pool area.

2. Fill out our online order form - sent to you by e-mail. This gives us the info we need to start, price, and ship your modern art painting. Money does not exchange from the order form. A final price, approximate delivery time, and request for 50% payment will be sent to you by return e-mail. Down payments can be paid by check, credit card (PayPal) or money order. If certain colors are required, you will be asked to forward color swatches with your payment. We create colors as close to the family of colors of your swatches as possible. We do not guarantee an exact color match.

3. 3 preliminary color sketches are created - and submitted to you by e-mail after 50% payment is received by check or credit card (PayPal). You are asked to choose your most favored sketch. Simple revisions can be made at this point and you may make up to 3 simple revisions without extra charge. All revisions after 3 will require a charge of $50.00 each. A simple revision could be a change of color value making something lighter or darker, adding a small component, or any change that does not require an entire redraw. Redraws are $150.00 each. There are no refunds on sketches and redraws. All artwork & sketches remain the intellectual property of S. Belle-Isle.

4. Artwork is rendered - after receiving your e-mailed sketch approval.

5. A viewing of finished artwork - will be sent to you by e-mail. Only simple changes at this point can be made such as making something a bit brighter in color, or darker, etc. Nothing can be moved or added.

6. Finished artwork approval - Upon final artwork approval of your modern art painting you will be asked to forward the balance of payment.

7. Shipment of modern art paintings - occurs upon receipt of any remaining art fees. Remaining fees can be paid by check, money order, or by credit card (PayPal). Your artwork is shipped INSURED. You will be given: a tracking number, an eta, and notification of how and when your modern art painting was shipped.

If you are setting up your PayPal account for the first time, please know that the shipping address and name on your credit card must match the shipping address and name where goods are being shipped. If these do not match you could be asked to verify your address and delays in shipping could occur.
